The Heart Aches A Poem by Mohamed Roberts
A man seen with unexplained pain Beyond his eyes you can see his spiteful pain Beyond his smile you can see a deception of happiness His Heart Aches Through his formed body you can see the affliction inflicted upon him Lonely he cries, terrified to show weakness in front of others With him are emotional scars Painfully, they slow him down He begins to crawl in reach for help But none is there He then collapses in a pool of pain His Heart Aches Unable to grasp hope, he lags in success Unable to find love, hes lost in misery Unable to find meaning in life, he disperses His Heart Aches He is unable to run Unable to escape pain He has endured a weary pain that compares to no other His Heart Aches Must he be left alone, to despair? In reality no one cares Every breath taken is painful His Heart Aches The pain is misunderstood and Impulsive off of past experiences. Such sorrows to be dealt with. His Heart Sadly Aches…
